Default 98 mustang gt

can someone please help me and my boy just picked up a 98 mustang it been stored for the past 7 years we picked it up on a great deal but the problem is the heater tube is bad , it’s the one that runs under the intake can some help on how to fix or were I can get one the local parts stores don’t carry them and ford has discontinued this part.. thanks for any help..

Checked on RockAuto yet? If they don't have it then try your local pick n' pull. 4.6 cars - Mustang, CrownVic and it's variants are usually plentiful. Not sure if that tube is any different between PI and Non-PI (what you have) engine cars, maybe take what's left of yours with you to match it up.

For reference, Non-PI ("NPI") engines were in 96-98 Mustangs, CrownVic etc 2000 and earlier. The later model years of those cars used the PI intake and cylinder heads. The metal heater tube you're talking about may likely be interchangeable between the two but I cannot confirm. You may possibly be able to use one from an F150 w/ 4.6 as well.
