Default power seat problem

Im having a problem with my driver side seat. it is power, and it wont move forward at all. My boyfriend used my car last night and he is 6"0 tall, i am 5"0 tall and i cant drive my car because i cant get the seat to go up. The motor for the seat works, because it will move the seat back, just not forward. And i dont know what to do. We checked the fuses, and they are fine, obv because the seat works going back. if anyone has any help or input they can put in please le tme know.

Gotta be a bad switch if the motor is still working.

turn the fuse around, ya know... flip it over, then it'll move front but not back.

I would find it strange once the seat stopped after he drove it,

A) the car doesn't want you driving it anymore.

b) the boyfriend doesn't want you driving it anymore. This way, he can drive it everywhere.

c) a switch or relay is bad and should be checked by a dealer...

maybe a possible D ?

d) you shrunk!

Is anything jammed or holding it up from going forward? Are you sitting in it? did you try it with no weight on it? can you hear the motor running like when its going back? do you hear the motor engage at all? do you hear anything wierd when tying to run it forward? Is it just dead like the switch isn't being pushed at all?
