Default Which Mustang to buy

I am not new to Mustangs. I had a 1965 Fastback High Performance 4speed which I sold in 1969 when I bought a new 69 GT fastback. Then life got in the way and I morphed to many different vehicles. I am now looking for a convertible to help satisfy my old age adolescence. I have set a budget for myself of $12-15,000. The little research I have done is leading me towards Gen-5 2005-2014 GT premium. I like a spirited ride, but high performance is not necessary. I am looking more towards reliability and low maintenance cost. I'm old and live in Arizona so having air and an automatic are important too. I have searched this and other forums and find that almost everything I can find is focused on Hot-Rodding and modifications. That is not my interest. I'm just looking for suggestions on which model/years I should be considering. What to look for and what to stay away from. I have also tried (unsuccessfully) to find any local Mustang clubs or groups. Any help or advice from knowledgable Mustang folks is very much appreciated.

This is my first post on this forum. If it is misplaced or inappropriate, please let me know. Thanks much
