2006 cammed mustang P0300 code
Hey guys. I new to the forums so I hope I’m doing this right😅.
Anyways I have a 2006 Mustang GT with ***** Thumpr cams. The car was going great for the past week then I got a P0300 code. I’ve looked it up some and I’m just getting a bunch of different answers about what it could be. The car is also on a 93 octane racing tune from Bama. And it’s got horrible fuel economy which I expected it to drop when the cams and tune was installed but not down to 9 MPG. Just need some answers for some good test or common issues that can cause this code. Thanks!

How long have you had the cams in? How many miles are on the vehicle?
If you have a code scanner with live data capabilities, take a look at your fuel trims and timing at idle. Post them up here.
If the timing is all over the place, it could be the cam phasers or VCCT Solenoids are failing/failed
If the fuel trims are way out of whack it could be fuel related (like a fuel pump)
