I own a 2010 5 speed v6 automatic 4.0L convertible. I was hit by a semi and shortly after getting my car back from being repaired. I had no warning no symptoms and my car wouldn’t go into reverse or drive. I found out I had a whole page of error codes coming up on my car that should of been addressed at repair shop but were not. So I purchased a remanufactured trans and had it installed and it still will not reverse. I was reading that my trans would have to be reprogrammed after install. Would it needing to be programmed cause it to not reverse or is it just a bad transmission??
