whoa, alright the drain plug is only for the tranny pan which is only about 3-5 quarts and removing the pan will give you access to the filter. I recommend having a transmission flush done at the dealership or at a lube and oil which removes the old tranny fluid and replaces it with new, even in the converter. It usually costs about 60-80 bones because it will cost you about 14-16 quarts of ATF and some shop fees.

I knkow what the flush does but usually the flush does not include a new filter which in my opinion would negate a flush.........I was just hoping there was a drain for the torque convertor like her truck. [>:]

Just get it flushed, bring it home, drop the pan, replace filter, Put pan back on, top off with fluid and be done. Thats if you really want a new filter in there. Or just do the flush and forget the rest.

I dont think its glue that you want. Im pretty sure that there are clips that hold that down.
