chainging auto rans fluid.
You can always try Gorilla Snot....3m weatherstrip adhesive. It sticks to ANYTHING! OR, when I worked at a dealership, we used Butylzolidine tape(sp) A/C tape, the black sticky stuff...
I changed my auto trans fluid a few weeks ago. I have a 95 mustang and it does have a drain for the torque converter. I am not sure about your year but I don't see any reason why they would take it out. I'm thinking most ford vehicles have a drain for their torque converters.
You take off the rad coller line and drain about 20 quarts of fluid from that while adding new fluid. Yeah, I know that seems radical, but to properly flush out the old and add the new, it tales about 20 quarts.
