My 06 GT was custom tuned after install of FRPP cams, headers, h pipe, 3.73 gears, and CAI. I left the stock exhaust on the car when I did those mods because my car only has 21k miles but now I've concluded that I MUST have the FLOWMASTER AMERICAN THUNDER mufflers on this car (like I had my last '06 Mustang which is owned now by my neighbor. That car has exact mods I described that on are my current car and it sounds awesome.)

So question is....if I swap stock mufflers for Flowmasters...what about another tune? Tunes are so expensive. Necessary or not? I don't go to the drag strip but occasionally race Chargers, Camaros, Challengers when they look at me wrong at a red light.

 

Swapping the muffler has no affect on the tuning. There won't be a need to spend money on a new tune just for a muffler swap.
