Hi, i've got the car supported on jack stands at the sub frame. On both the driver and passenger side, i removed the lower shock bolt, removed the quad shock bolt but the spring doesn't fall out even if i push down on the rotor a bit. What do you recommend next? Do i need to remove this LCA bolt? I havent removed the sway bar if thats the issue? both sides are are at an equal height

Reason: worded better
I'm curious of the benefit... with the spring compressor, what additional components did you have to remove?
Without them i successfully removed the spring by removing the bolts on the 4 shocks, sway bar, but the key was lifting the opposite side with a jack, which lowered the side i'm working on enough to get it out.
Definitely didn't 'fall out' for me, maybe due to my LCA bushings holding it up. New LMR.
Thank you,
I didn't need to pull the sway bar, just the shock. I used a jack to compress the spring, then used the spring compressor to hold it in place and dropped the jack, it popped right out. Sounds like you got it out regardless though.
