Default Rear spolier mount studs

Good afternoon,

Recently purchased a 03 mustang and the rear spolier is very loose, when taking a look at it, only 1 of the 4 regular mount studs was present and 3 of the others were replaced by screws with washers...
I'm looking for a replacement hardware to mount the rear spoiler back on asap... Please see pictures attached and let me know what you think... Apparently I can only upload links, sorry about that...

Thank you,

Nico

Can't open the links. Is there a way to insert them in your post? I'm new here.

I usually take the photo with my phone and send the photo to my gmail account. Pull it up on gmail account on my computer and download it to my pictures folder or desktop. Then when I send a reply on this site, one of the options is to select a photo, by clicking the mouse on the square icon next to the smiley face. Once you click on the square icon, it will guide you through the process of selecting your photograph (s) from your computer.
Good luck.

If you are sending it from a web link, right click your mouse on the item, select web capture and select the item you want to copy, your browser will give you the option of copying it. After you copy it, paste it on your desktop. Then you can follow the process that I outlined in my previous post.

Found it thank you!

So as you can see on the second picture, the stud in as one piece already on the spolier and the first picture it is missing. I m trying to find this hardware to replace these missing studs. If anyone knows what I m talking about...

Thank you,

Nico

I would purchase a bolt and nut. Take it to a local muffler or welding shop and have them spot weld the bolt to the area where the hole is.
I can't see from your photo if you can pry the metal clip out of the housing? If you can, purchase a bolt and 2 nuts. Run the bolt through the broken bracket and secure it where it exits. Install the spoiler and use the second nut to secure it in the trunk.

Or, purchase a toggle bolt and run it through the hole in the trunk and into the hole in the spoiler. purchase one just long enough for the toggle to clear the hole in the spoiler. If you have a drill, you may want to widen the hole to fit a sturdy enough toggle bolt.
Just some suggestions. Let us know how you handled the issue.

Nico
