Default Engine Blown!

Looking for some advice; I am just beside myself! I live in Boston and am currently visiting SC. My check engine light went on, I took it to a dealer, was told I needed to leave the car for a few days. Technician checked the code and said my engine was misfiring. Said I could drive it a little bit, you might lose power, but your engine isn't going to blow up. I made an appointment with a local mechanic that could look at it within 2 days. In the interim, I was driving and the engine started to overheat. I immediately pulled over and had it towed to the mechanic. Got a call from the mechanic and was told to take it to a Ford dealership, the engine is blown. Spoke with one dealer that said it would be at least 3 months before I could get a new engine. WTF????? I can't stay in SC for 3 months, nor can I afford to rent a car for such a long time. My car is a 2019 Ecoboost Premium convertible with 46,000 miles. I'm afraid they might null the warranty because in the height of the pandemic I didn't get my oil changed on time. I have no idea how much the cost is to replace an engine, and I'm completely overwhelmed as to what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. By the way, I contacted the dealer I purchased the vehicle from, (in TN), and so far I haven't heard anything back. Thanks, in advance, for your help.

I doubt they'll void the warranty for not getting an oil change in time

It actually says on the warranty if you don't follow service recommendations. I hope you're right. But this may be a non issue cause i can't go several weeks/months without a car.

I'd just check with Ford before you get too excited, they may offer a loaner or something

Nope. No such thing as a loaner, I asked. They will rent me a car for $50/day, but if the problem is under warranty, the price drops to $10/day. ARGH.
