Is my motor hurt?
I have a 2006 mustang with the 4.0l and the 5r55s trans. I've had a timingchain rattle for about two months but a couple days ago it sounded like the motor let go. It will still start but sounds like it's going to come apart. Will putting new tensioners in it fix that or is it done? On top of the motor issue I also lost 3rd gear but it shifts fine in all other gears. Help please.
