Well i have a ford ranger with an 86 mustang 5.0 HO. i drained the gas tank and replaced the fuel pump. now it dosent idle and not run no matter what timing i give it. you have the feather the throttle just to keep it barely running and you still cant get it over 3,000 rpm. i have replaced the coil, cap, plugs, rotor, wires, fuel pump, and the fuel filter. I think it is the computer that is bad. if you have had a problem similar plz help me out.

 

that is way too broad to answer. if it fires, you have either a spark or fuel issue.

w/ out putting a guage on it to check fp, you can't know, thats the easiest to eliminate , then go from there
