Default Junkyard Tires/Wheels

Me and my friends were thinking that we could find a cheap set of 5 lug rims with some crappy tires on them, bolt them up to my car and burn them up... outside of the obvious wear and tear, would this cause any damage? I've seen this done before - but it's on my car this time and I dont want to mess anything up.

as long as they aren't warped or the tires don't blow. its gonna be fine just make sure you use the same size tire.

i wouldn't even worry about the tire size. Just make sure the rims and rubber clear your brakes etc. and smoke away.

burnouts are hard on the tranny and rear end, especially when you holeshot into it. it really doesnt matter though, because its worth it. just dont rev it too high, and if really want to smoke em good, dump the clutch in 2nd at 5k, powerbrake until you get bored, then play with the gas to keep the tires spinning without letting it rev too high. thats the secret of 150 ft burnouts.
