Default Borg Warner T-5 or SROD 4spd?

i am purchasing a motor from a friend of mine that has been completely rebuilt, with all the performance modifications to this motor we estimate the engine at 325-375hp, my question is should i put the T-5 BW tranny in this car (originally from a 4cyl) or should i retain the stock SROD 4spd tranny? I have heard pro's and con's for both and i need expert opinions from the best.

i see no positve reasons at all to keep that old 4-speed. it's far too weak for a stock 302 lat alone 350 hp
