3.8 Coolant Flow
We know the belt is on right and the impeller on the water pump is correct. 99% sure the intake gasket are put on correct. The problem is that the coolant is not circulating, and what is is filling the puke tank over capacity. When I intially start the engine without the radiator cap on, it spews out the top neck of radiotor. I have tried to run without the thermostat and the problem still occurs. What is the problem?!?!?
P.S. COMPLETELY rebuilt motor and new radiator

RE: 3.8 Coolant Flow
In one shop I ran, we replaced a water pump on a car. It continued over heating. We did everything..Burped the system several times, replaced the t-stat.. couldn't figure it out. Then I told the tech to take the pump off. I looked at it, and it turns out the impeller wasn't attached to the shaft correctly. Turn the shaft, and the impeller just sat there, Might have the same situation with yours.

Actually my 2000 runs clockwise as well. I had it wrong in my head. Don't know then...I'm stumped. Is the car overheating?

RE: 3.8 Coolant Flow
This is indeed strange. There can only be 3 possibilities.
1 Waterpump going wrong way. You have checked this and ruled it out
2 Stuck T-stat. I know you said you replaced it, but it can be defective. take it out and put it in boiling water. Check to see if it opens.
3 Clogged water passages. This would have to be a MAJOR clog. Not sure how you would check this one.
