Default currie 9inch rear end?

does anyone use this rear end kit? it's a 9inch 31 spline rear available from summit. Is it on par with the ford rear? It's a little cheaper than the ford, and i'm a little over my budget. Thanks for your help.

Unless you are making a whole bunch power and using a real big tire and drag with a manual trans don't fool with the 9".
The 8.8 can be built whole lot cheaper and can take lots of power thru it.....

thanks for the tip.

i'm hoping to make about 750hp through a manual trans when everything's done. Should I still stick with the 8.8? Durability is a major concern.

Why not a 9"? its the best rear out there. Its easier to work on than an 8.8, stronger and the parts are about the same price.
