Default Mustang underseal

Hi,

Winter is here in the U.K, i was considering putting some sort of under body protection on the car, can anyone tell me what the protection is like as the car comes from factory, i have just had fitted a Magnapack system and the guy at the garage commented on the fact that there didnt seem to be much protection on the underside of the car,, when i had a look it looked like there was just a grey colour surface, European cars do come well protected, im just a bit concerned now!! im sure there must be some of you guys from the upper states who have had the same worrys, being winter! SALT ON THE ROADS!!

Lots of layers of paint. Red oxide, then color. Do not put undercoating under there. Over time, it will turn loose and trap water and salt. Be sure to wash out the salt from underneath often. Some car washes have an attachment that sprays from underneath.
