Default Just installed Steeda

I just finished installing a Steeda tri ax shifter. It took less than an hour. I just got back from a test drive they are worth every cent. It is impossible to miss 3rd gear, which was an occasional problem with the stock shifter. Everything is so tight its awesome. I heard some guys complaining about noise, I have very little tranny noise at idle in gear or in neutral. You can tell Steeda makes a quality product. Its heavy, thick and its made in the USA can't go wrong! Lastly, their directions are easy to follow. I purchased it from Stang Mods another good company. They all get a thumbs up from me. Any one considering it... go for it!

How can you tell the difference bewteen a T45 and a TR3650? I have a 96 GT but its got a new Tremec tranny in it. I run the #'s on it and I didnt get anything back. It has a 4 bolt shifter so I know its not a 3550. Does it even matter for which you order or are the shifters the same for the T/45 and TR3650? Thanks and I'll def. be looking for a Steeda now.

i have the steeda tri-ax in the focus, i think it's "ok" at best, just feels like a shorten stick. haven't tried it on a stang though, i have the pro 5.0 in and that is one kick *** shifter IMO. some guys i've talked to tried both and they all preffered the pro 5.0 by far.

I guess its a matter of preference. A never drove anything but this tri ax so I have nothing to compare to. All I know I am really satisfied with the Tri ax compared to the stock shifter that was in the car.
later guys
