Default Big wheels for Mustang?

What are the biggest possible wheels for my 1996 GT convertible? Is 19" or 20" possible? How about the tires then?

I have personally seen someone put 20's on a mustang and it just looked to big for the car. But if that is what you are going for, then probably look for something like 20x8 or 8.5

Maybe if you live in the hood

most guys run 17s or 18s... anything bigger gets kinda "bling bling"

Just doesnt look good Imho

why do that to a beautiful car guys put 20s on cars like honds for example to take the attention a way from the ugly p.o.s. man id go with 18 tops plus with 20s your not going to be able to drive it like i should be drove and it will ride like poo my cousin has 20s on his 94 and is stuck with em but hes always cryin because he sold his stock rims 20s just arenot ment for the car however if thats what you want i sugest you hold on to the stock rims and findout for yourself

20's will also slow the car down a good amount due to so much rotating mass, plus they just plain look stupid. The whole 20' rim fad will gone in a year or so I predict.
