Default Fuel Problem ?

My car has been running rich sense i have had it. I was wondering if i get the Accel Coil Packs to upgrade from the stock ones if this will help my fuel problem. All parts are stock on the fuel system. The only thing i have as far as mods go is BBK intake, BBK 65mm Throttle Body, BBK Catted x-pipe. Please let me know. Thanks

Coil packs won't help the rich condition, but turning the MAF might. You can try turning the MAF to different positions to get the cleanest, least turbulent air flow over the sensor element.Cleaning the MAF might help also. The O2 sensors could be starting to show their age also but start with the free solutions first. One other thing,I'm not sure if you have a screen in front of the MAF but removing this and replacing the gasket can lean out the mixture somewhat.Repost and let us know what you find out.

I removed the screen infront of my MAF and it seems like my idle is stickier now. Why would my gas pedal seemed 'not smoothe' to press down at first? Would these be related?

I will try to remove the screen from the MAF. Also i have never cleaned the MAF sensor what is the best way to do this. I am off work tomorrow i will try to clean it after i pick the car up from the exhaust shop. Just need to know the best way to do this and how does the screen come out?

The screen comes out after you remove the MAF from the airbox,REMEMBER to replace the rubber gasket thats around the screen or you will have an unfiltered air leak. You can clean the MAF sensor element with a spray on,non residue electrical contact cleaner and a Q-Tip,but be careful these things are fragile. They are something like a lightbulb filament.
