What is that little indent with two ridges by the shifter?
'02 GT, What is that little notchy indent to the left of the shifter, in front of the cupholders? It has the two little ridges in it going vertically...

Is it next to your foglight switch?
Thats where the convertible switch WOULD go if you had a convertible. I guess ford didn't want to make 2 different console's.

Yeah it's where the button would be for convertibles. Ford calls it a coin holder (although it does an awful job).
It makes a GREAT spot for a nitrous switch because the space for wiring is already under there, and it is the perfect size and has perfect placement.

Yup, ford doesnt make two different center consoles. so they just add that so called coin holder since you do not have a convertible and have no need for the switch.
