Hey All,

I have a 1996 Mustang. I love this car. Today at work I accidentally left my park lights on. After work, I discovered my battery was dead. I had a friend jump start it for me. The car cranked right up just fine. The problem now is the power locks keep "running". I had to hold the power lock button down for about 20 seconds to get it to stop running. My keyless entry doesn't work now either. What do I need to do to fix this problem. I am new here and really need help.

Disconnect the negative battery terminal for a minute or so, and reconnect it. That should do it.

 

that would be the 1st step to reset the computer.
