Default slick fitment help

I have 7.5 wide wheel and i am looking to put some slicks on them. what is the widest I can go with and whats recomended for that wheel width. I am clue less but I need for a 11.5 wide mickey thompson to fit on this wheel I have will it fit

no way is it gonna fit right, not w/out at least 1/2" spacer plates, and the sidewalls are gonna be pulled in big time.

are you talking full slick or DOT?

an 8" et drag will give you all the hook need til about 10-oh's

a 10 1/2" DOT will take care of you pretty good too, an 11 1/2" will rub w/out spacers or ghetto backspacing. and like i dais you'd probably have less contact than 10 1/2"'s from the loss of sidewall.

Usually you can go 1 inch wider than your wheel as a rule and not have any problems... at least that's for street tires

Are you using tubes or no?

i would go with 9" wide if you try to shove a 11.5 on there your side wall may not wrinkle and do there job.
