i have a auto 01 mustang gt and i used the hypertech programmer for higher shift points, at the track my average time is 14.7(my best was 14.5)

if i change my gears how fast do you think i will run with each of these gears

3:55
3:73
4:10

 

If you are on the street with it everyday I would stick on the 3.73's.
Hard to really say how much you will pickup but you will.
Maybe .20 if you are lucky.....

 

4.10s or nothing you will want to kill yourself with anything less.

and you have 3.27s so 3.55s are just a waste of money.

 

ya it doesn't exactly change your HP. it changes your torque by fractions.

 

With your slushmatic, go with 4.10's or 4.30's only.

If you go with 3.73's or 3.90's, just paypal me the money you spent buying them & on the labor, it'll go to a much better thought out mod on my car

 

didnt autos come with a 3.31? yeah with an auto ur prolly gonna want the ol 4.10s
