On my 91 stang I need to change my passenger lock actuator. How do I do this. Do I drill the plastic rivets out or is there another way, and when I put the new one in can I just use bolts or do I have to buy new plastic rivets. Any help would be greatly appretiated.

 

u can just take the actual actuator off of the plastic holder thing thats held in by the rivets, i had to do this aswell on my car, just slide that actuator out of the plastic U-clamp type thing and pop the new one back in there, its kind of a b*tch because the wholes in the doors arn't that big so its hard to maneuver ur arm in there, but thats how i did it
