Default 98 Cobra tire/rim question

I pick up my 98 Cobra this week. 32k original. It has Cobra R rims w/ facory size 245/45/17's. The car needs new tires. The rear rims do not fill the wells. I want to fix this problem. I see rim packages with wider rear rims. My problem here is I want to drive the car and be able to rotate tires. Are spacers an option for the rear wheels? Are they safe? Do they throw your balance? Do I just need to get 10.5 wide rear rims? Help me out here guys.

I would say, forget about rotating the tires. Just get the 10.5`s. It will look killer. Thats what im doing with mine. I dont think youll regret it once you see them on your car.

Yup, getting some 17x10.5 inch rims in the rear looks a lot better than just having spacers. Oh well you won't be able to rotate. I have deep dish rims and love them and not worried about rotating because it looks soo good.
