With the exception of a convertable there isn't a whole lot of a difference GT vs LX.
The hatchback glass is 90% of the difference. The weight of the GFX isn't going to make it slower.
In simple terms simple driving techniqes will matter more than the weight differences.

92 LX: Curb Weight: 3010 lbs.
92 GT: Curb Weight: 3144 lbs.
134 lbs is a LOT of difference, cody. and 90% of that is not because of the the glass.
The GT has ground effects and the such, and probably have a lot more options that weren't available for the LX notch.
Do you ever know what you're talking about?

Everyone on the Chevy forums seem to know what they are talking about allready, you guys need some help.
Things that add weight to a GT:
- Fog lights
- Ground effects & Bumper covers
- Hatch components + glass
- Hatch mounted spoiler
134lbs isn't going to make a win or lose difference in a race between a GT and LX. If ou think it will you don't know what your talking about.
