Default vaccum problem

I have been trying to figure what my pcv valve isn't working. I noticed that the cork gaskets were pushed out and leaking oil. So I started looking at the pcv and noticed that there was a lot of oil around that area too. I replaced the Crankcase beather filter, pcv, hose and grommet and I still don't have any vaccum when I take the pcv out of the hole. If I take the pcv valve off of the hose I get plenty of vaccum. I don't know if it's the pcv valve or not but I don't think that it is. I was told to look at the check valve on the break booster. I don't know what that has to do with it but I don't know what else it could be. Any idea's?

I've replaced the pcv valve twice. I have been thinking about everything that has happen since I got the car in april. I remember one day the car was running like it had a cam ( a wild cam ). When I got home I noticed that the pcv was out of it's hole. Once I put it back in the car went back to it's smoothness. Now all I have is blown valve cover gaskets and no vaccum from my pcv valve, unless I take the pcv valve out of the hose.
