2000 Mustang running problem
This is my first post here and I was wondering if someone could help me. I have a 2000 Ford Mustang Convertable. I having a problem with it running at speed on the interstate. This problem first started this past summer when I was returning from a 600 mi trip. I was crusing along at about 70 mph then then the motor started looseing RPM's and acted like it was running out of gas. I pulled over to the side of the road, shut the motor off the restarted with out a problem. I then compleated my journey without a hitch. Move forward 3 months and it did the same thing on another long trip. Then today I was returning from another trip and it did it about 8 times about every 20 miles or so. After I turn off the car and start it right back up I'm good for another 20 miles or so. I have taken it to 2 different mechanics to get it diagnosed and they can't find any fault codes go figure. I was thinking that it was either the fuel pump or the CCRM. Has anyone else encounted this problem. It seams like the problem is getting much worse. The car has 137,000 miles on it and as far as I knoe the origional fuel pump. The fuel filter has been changed. Thanks in advanced for any help.
