Plain and simple No.
It's nothing more than a 20 cent resistor that tricks the ECU into thinking the air coming through the intake is colder than it actually is.
Cold air = more dense than hot air, thus the ECU will drop more fuel and you'll run pig rich until your O2 sensor says "wait a second here..."
Then the ECU will pull the fuel back and run like it did before.
So just No.
