I finally have put on my xpipe on my car now what i was wondering is if i just get a pair of flowmaster mufflers or flowtech mufflers and weld them into the stock catback will i have the same gains as putting in a whole catback? i have heard people say that a aftermarket catback is only good for 3hp anyway so i would hate to spend 400$ on a catback when i could do the same thing with a set of mufflers. thanks in advance.

 

ya might only get 2 hp rather than 3 i have had mine dumped under teh car so i just wen ahead and had them run 2.5" pipe since thats what my x pipe is.
