Default 62 mm throttle body

I installed a new 62mm throttle body about a week ago. Everything is fine except when I need to make a quick stop in 1st thru 3rd gears, the idle stays at whever it was while in gear for between 8-24 seconds then it drops to around 800. Is this normal, or do I need to do something with the computer. 2005 GT w/K&N air charger, Flowmaster mufflers, and the 62mm throttle body (motoblue cnc billet)

the 8-24 second delay isnt normal at all, is it just your tach sticking or can u still hear the motor at full rpm?

It's at full rpm, until it drops gradually in 8-24 seconds. I don't think there is anyway to check to see if it is sticking since its all done by wire into the housing. I have disconnected my battery for 7 minutes as instructed. Should it be longer? Someone told me 7 hours.(the salesman) Everything seems to be hooked up right. It only does this while driving and shifting.

Don't modern mustangs come with 65mm throttle bodies stock? If so, why did you get a smaller one?
