i agree as far as posting a timeslip. not positive on atco's elevation, but it is close to sea level. otherwise there are people like myself who don't necessary want to list their exact combo for everyone to know... for different reasons. if that's shady then so be it

Thats fine, also I see nothing wrong with listing an 1/8th mile time if thats all you have. But when posts are missing things like the 60 foot and MPH it sets off a red flag in my book.

i have never posted a time slip mainly because i have never ran a 1/4 mile track but is there a space for a elevation or barometer leval or something along with track temp. this would let poeple make there own adjustments.

I guess I see what you mean. 4.3 @ 78 mph for 1/8 must have been some wild ride. You got to go real fast and get on the brakes hard to get that.

But a question, should you enter more than 1 if you have a great 1/8th on one run but slow 1/4 and then on another you have a great 1/4 but slow 1/8th?

i was kind of wondering the same thing

ive got a run with my gears, airfilter, midpipe, and catback, at 14.545
and another with everything plus DR's and i ran a 14.086

so i went ahead and entered just the good one, but i'll probably enter the other one while im at it later

there has to be someway you could convince the mods or amanda to attach some sort of time slip verification to anyone who has a real time slip posted, so that peole can see it somewhere near the poster level,,

just like a little image or word about having a legitimate time

just a thought?

Thats a good idea, but it's not really that hard to spot a fake time. For example the 60 might be really bad and yet the car has a great ET for the mods it has. Regaurdless I think that an image of the timeslip is def. a good idea.
