g-tech sucks go to the track
Nah, now come on. G-techs have their uses. I use a G-tech on my vette because I can't run on the track: no roll cage and I'm not ruining it for street duy with one.

But we "calibrate it" by putting it in the Camaro when it does run at the track (it has a roll cage and a pain in the butt it is, too), then we know the correction factors to adjust.

But you don't claim the time in the timeslip section do you? gtechs are very sensitive to the road that you run on, you can't trust it from one spot to the next (or even one day to the next) I have one and have seen this first hand. The TIMESLIP section should be for just that, timeslips, not estamates/guesses/gtechs and what not. Just IMO

damnit i was on bald street tires and could get the car to hook up.

sadly the best time i could pull at the track was 2.2 60's that was with 28 psi babing it out of the hole to keep it form spinning.
