to the pepole who had to pay someone to rebuild your engine professionally, how much did it run you? i know its easly beyond 2000 in a lot of instances and i thik the cheapest ive heard is 2500...who could i send it to or whats a fair price to pay in you opnions. thanks

It shouldnt be nowhere near 2,500 unless you are replacing stuff w/ performance parts which I think you should do anyway since you are rebuilding.

i know you want it pro done but how hard would it be to do your self? is it something that the average person that fixes their own stuff could do them selves?

I had mine rebuilt for $1100. That was bored .040 over, decked, new cam bearings, new KB pistons, rings, and everything balanced. I had to assemble it myself so that might cost a little more.

my dad wants to have the Q Code 351 Cleveland from our 72 Mach 1 rebuilt....

but my question is,, what all does a rebuild include? the car runs pretty good, but you can tell its really rough, and not had much maintenence over the years while it sat for a long period
