Ok these may be really dumb questions. But oh well.

1) Is it possible to put a GT hoodscoop onto a V6?
2) If i bought one, is it a whole new hood or just the scoop??
3) Where can i find some with a decent price??

Just find a hood from a 2001+ gt on ebay or something used.

i've got one i'm about to take off of my cobra. It's from a GT. it was on it when i bought it and I'm not a fan. just personal pref.

A 2001 gt hood will fit on a 2001 V6. they are the same car basically with different motors and the gt's come with more. i think a 99 to 2004 are all the same.

I would say go with an aftermarket hood such as cervinis.com or something like that. You can get some great looking hoods and look much better than factory..... also try abcexclusive.com

you can buy just a scoop form 50 resto for about 100 buck just make sure you get it on the car straight,.

yeah, thats my baby. 95 gt vert w/ cervinis hood, cobra bumper cover, lowered 2inches, 18 chrome wheels.. i have to get different headlights now though, not too big on the projectors. Sorry, we have hijacked the thread.

But in all seriousness, you can buy a nice aftermarket hood (not the cheap ones) and you will be much happier. Who wants to have a stang that looks like everybody elses?
