Default 331 or 347?

I don't know much...having a hard time deciding. I heard 347's do not last as long. Also any recommendations on a good book or source on how to convert a 302 to a 331 or 347?

I've heard the same thing about 347's wearing out bearings. Also I think that with a 347 you have to notch out the bottom of the cylider wall for rod bolt clearance. I personally would go with the 331.

the difference between a 347 and 331 is 1/4 inch of stroke length.
