Default Old Engine Performance: 302

I own a 1989 Crown Victoria but before you say it's not a Mustang and I'm posting in "Mustang Forums" website allow me to explain. I've heard that my engine, a 302, is essentially the same one that is in Mustangs of this era. I was wondering if performance parts for mustangs of this era would fit onto my car (super charger, turbo charger, performance intakes, etc.). I've also heard that a conversion of my engine from its old computer technology to "mass air" is required, which I've heard will destroy the engine. Is this true (the engine destruction)? And if not, will those 'stang performance parts fit on my engine?

Thanks for your time and input!

Yep.
Yes you can.
Nope, converting to 'mass air' will not destroy engine.

first off they are the same basic engine but there are a lot of diffences diffent heads cam timing chain pistons head gaskets and of coarse the computer (yes you can convert it with out hurting the engine.) and yes most perfomance parts will fit such as heads cams pistons intake and so on.
