Today I bought a new distributor cap from Auto Zone and the plug wires did not fit snuigly at all. So what is the preffered cap to use? I pricedf the ford cap but thought $50.00 was a little steep.

Auto Zone sells nothing that is real quality........
Never has, never will........

 

i had used and accel one and it worked good

 

if ya notice when ya go in there they will ask you if ya want the $5 part or the $15 part most people opt for the $5 then bitch about it being cheap.

 

So I guess the answer is anything but the autozone cheap one.
