I was wondering what would be my best bang for my dollar? I have a V6 car and I know that in time I will be going with a GT Stang. So given the cost of an exhaust upgrade vs the hp/ sound bennefits on a V6 Stang, would my money be better spent on a rim and tire upgrade that could be swaped over to a GT Stang down the road? This may be a minor question, but hearing from fellow Mustangers on this would be helpfull in making a wise choice, thanks wildcobrar.

what year stang do you have now? If you plan on getting a GT soon, id say get some rims becuase you could transfer over to the GT, and if the GT already has those rims you could sell them for more then exhuast.

If your gonna get a GT later on, get the rims and not much more. Save the money for the GT and mods that you would do to it. Youll get alot more out of the GT.

You only live once so do whatever makes you happy, even if it's not the wisest choice you could make. My 14 y/o brother wrote to my mom this note -- fun = priceless. She'll never forget that.

I would say get the rims but if you want some sound out of it get some mufflers to hold you over. Or just save your money.

I would think that a GT would have some decent rims to start with. Rims aren't that important to me because I could think of other ways to spend that kind of money. I'll take speed/performance over looks. The idea of someone eating my dust is so much fun, especially if it's a guy who thinks he's hot stuff in his car.
