Default Dyno'd the cobra:

Bone stock except for the K&N. I'm having some minor timing issues, could have been bad gas or plugs (which I will change asap to check that), and I was running MUCH leaner then I thought. With just the K&N it was leaner then it should have been, which is pretty bad, especally since it still has the cat's on it so the readings were lower then actual by just a tiny bit.

I ran a 3rd time but he kicked it out. We tried reseting it (pulling battery cable) to see if that helped with the timing or the leaning out, and the line went nuts. I had a timing spike that put me at 277hp and 290lbs torque.

The second run that I got 262.6hp and 274.88lbs is just about spot on for factory ratings. Thats right at 303hp at the crank with 15% loss. Not bad for a car almost 10 years old w/ 120 on the clock to still rate that close.

Thanks! Cant wait to get started on my planned mods. Tired of looking at this damn set of gears in my garage... time for them to go in now.

Still kinda funky that my A/F and Timing spiked at the same time on that 3rd run. Kinda wish he woulda put that on the graph he printed.

I have a set of 3.73's sitting in my garage that will be my first mod. Second should be the exhaust from the headers back... and then its time to save money for a P&P. Hoping that little bit throws me around 290-300... but thats an awful lot of hoping. lol.

it will be close, my guess would be about 280-295

your goin to like the gears tho, the stock ones are terriable

you can easily get to 300 tho with another mod such as a set of pullies or a little intake work

Good numbers. This throws out all those claims that your motor will lose significant HP over the years, even if it's properly taken care of.
