My service engine light came on, and after having the codes checked I put in a new EGR valve. A day later the light came back on, and Autozone said it was the EGR vavle causing it because of excessive flow. Since the valve was new, they said that it was probably because my car has been reprogrammed. I find it hard to believe since the car had been reprogrammed by the previous owner, and the light did not come start coming on until about 3 months after I bought it. I'm clueless on this stuff...anyone have a suggestion?

My light just came on yesterday. I am going to have Autozone check mine out this afternoon. I'll let you know what they say. Do you have a V8 or V6? These idiot lights are driving me crazy!

Mine code was an 0 2 sensor and I too have a V6.
