Diablosport Predator tuner
Hey, I have been messing around with my tuner lately, but I'm not really sure what how I'm changing things. The timing says it can be adjusted -40% to +10%, and same with the fuel table. I'm not really sure how to read the percents. If I advance my spark 5%, how many degrees would that be? right now I think I have it advanced like 3-4% just to be safe, but I want to get the full ammount of power out of this thing.
Also, if anyone has some suggested tunes using this tuner that would rock. I have an 00 GT 5-speed. BBK long tube headers, BBK high flow midpipe, MAC CAI, 3.73 gears. Hopefully ill be putting on a C&L plenum and BBK 75mm TB this summer, but now im just tuning for the parts I have.

i have my timing advanced all the way, in both rpm rangest. Im running 93 octane, no pinging or anything. You can barely feel the difference, but its there. The "diablo tune" advances it a good bit, but i went further and went all the way. I know a few other people on here that have there timing all the way advanced.

I have the tuner for my 05' FX4 5.4L and I upped the timming all the way up and my engine started pinging, I run 91 all of the time and I am running the standard Diablo tune. I had to bring it back into the Diablo tune original specs to stop it pinging.
Otherwise the tuner really helped the power of my truck, I could feel it, and in that big *** thats something impressive. To feel a difference in our mustangs we generally need a gain of about 15-20hp/tq but to feel it in my truck you need about 30hp/tq gain.
Im saving up for my next mods for the truck, AF1 CAI, Troyer underdrive pulleys, Troyer Dual E-fans, that will bump me up another 60bhp, its AMAZING how restrictive everything is on that truck, the Fan is a HUGE cast clutch fan and 20" blade. I have been waiting for Pacesetter to debute their full length 4X4 headers for two months now but they keep pushing back the release date. Right now I am running open exhaust, ANYWAYS! I am sure you guys dont want to hear about the truck.

spark advance and fuel
i just bought a diablosport tuner and i tried the tune that was already programmed in it and i was curious how much difference a custom tune would help. i have an 02 gt with underdrive pullies and long tube headers with an x-pipe ( no cats due to no emissions tests here ) and flowmasters. If anybody has a list of the tunes or just a few suggestions of things that may or have worked for them i would appreciate them greatly. thanx.
