302 Block a Little Old
I have a 1993 lx hatchback with pretty much all brand new bolt on's. But the thing is that I have a 408 stroker block that I just got some machine work done to and my father in law suggested using that block in my car. it's a complete block and I have the victor junior heads and I also have the tric flow intake for my 302 but the stroker motor was originally carburated and has titanium ross custom dome pistons. Do you guys have any suggestions?
the reason I am considering this is because my block is just about to take a crap....

do you think with the compression that motor is generating that I would be alright with fuel injecting it? Also do you know of anyone selling a 351 lower, 42 pound injectors, and a maf programmed for 42 pounds?

what kind of compression are you looking? you can get away with 10.5:1 even 11:1 on 93 you just need to have the timing set right. as far as a intake and injectors go www.jegs.com you may need to up grade the computer to somekind of after market one like a FAST, AEM, or anderson motorsports PMS.

I know I am gonna have to put a chip on it thats probably what I am gonna do. but the motor was originally built with a 14:1 compression and we did some stuff to lower the compression, but now its at least 11.5:1 now.
