Default window motor problem on 94 gt

ok i recently bought another mustang to work on. well i was replacing the drivers side window motor when i noticed that some one had cut the main wiring harness to it the one w/ the yellow and red wire. the wires don't have any power coming to them at all. The window motor is brand new and does work when straight wired to the switch. i was wondering why i ain't getting any power to the main yellow and red wire , or how i could permantly run it from off the wires coming out the back of the switch with out causing any damage to the car?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

this is a long process, but you need to get a book or something with your wireing diagram in it and track down the wires for your switch and go from there.
