Does anyone know how many 427 SOHC motors ford made? I ask this because I hear that they are rare, not to mention expensive.


To bad ford couldn't bump the 5.4 motor, and put the old 427 SOHC in the new cobra, talk about making real power with a blower!

 

if your talking about the old cammers form the 60's there where only a handful built.
the last i heard they where about 40k for a builder.

 

Yep thats what I'm talking about. Well for being that rare, and expensive, a local man here has 32 of them! It must be nice to have money, lots of money....
