Default roll cage in convertible

I was wondering if you could get a roll cage in aconvertable and still be able to put the top up.

It's possible if you got it custom made. Why would you want to do that? Convertibles are beautiful to look at and fun to drive. A cage would make it ugly.

I think there is some bolt in cages that let the top go up and down.I have seen some conv. with bars that let the tops go down that were welded in also do I dont know what they did to make them work.

I don't think you'd really have that much of a problem making it fit... when the top goes down doesn't it basically go up and back? I know they make roll bars for 'verts and you need a roll bar/cage of some sort if you go faster than ?? at the track

If you just go with a roll bar you could probably style it up to look like one of those light bars

a 'vert going faster than 13.49 has to be caged to run at the track.

a cage would be much easier to install on a vert.
