I have a 98 GT with a factory stereo and when slightly cranked up have a drive door rattle from music. Any suggestions to fix????

First of all how do you SLIGHTLY start a car. It could be that your door jams are bad,or your door is slightly off center.I would check them two things out before doing anything else.

 

its all the plastin that is there mine rattles too the only cure drive with your leg against like me or spend a fortune on dynomat.

 

try checking your door panel clips one or some might have jard loose

 

do you have the mach460?

 

yeah man...I have the same problem too in my 97. Don't forget that you have a 1998, that's 8 years old already. Stuff like that is going to happen, nothing is necessarily wrong, its just an older built car.

 

I have a 95 with a system in it with two subs. Man! Everything in that car rattles. The doors, the mirrors, the panels in the back. Its just from the fact that the car is older like that guy just said. There's not much you can do.

 

crank as in audio, not crank as in start up the car

 

my speaker grills buzz in the doors also, i pull that leg on the door thing as well sometimes. If you find something inexpensive that works well please let us know! I will be looking for something this year also...
