make tires sticky
Heat them up a little bit. I was told by a couple people here on the forums that it wouldn't help for just street tires... but everyone at the track said to try it, and my times were horrible anyway. After starting to do a short burnout before launching, my times did get a LITTLE better.
I ended up with a 14.205 @ 97.61 with no changes to my stang except a flowmaster cat-back, and a BBK aluminium CAI (useless). So I was essentially stock, factory tires too.
There's not much else you can do to make a set of tires stickier... the best you can do is just get some different tires.

for the most part street radials dont' do good when heated it will pull the oils out of the tires making the slicker. just turn them over a couple of times to clean them off drop the air preasure down to about 28 psi and maybe use some track bite.
